Academy of the Sacred Heart issued the following announcement on Aug. 26.

Academy of the Sacred Heart has partnered with Plum Market Foodservice, a division of Plum Market, to provide lunch service beginning in September 2019. Damian Hermann, Head of School at Academy of the Sacred Heart, says he looks forward to “fresh and healthy menu options to help students and faculty tackle the school day.”

Initially meals will be prepared at Plum Market’s West Bloomfield location and brought in fresh each day. Lunches will include a range of sandwiches, composed salads, and fresh baked goods with an emphasis on fresh, organic, and all natural ingredients, meats raised free of antibiotics and hormones, and locally sourced items, whenever possible. Sacred Heart families can order their lunches online for the day or for the week with 72 hours' notice.

“We are delighted to partner with the Academy of the Sacred Heart and share this exceptional experience with students and faculty,” states Matt Jonna, CEO & Co-Founder of Plum Market. “Being part of such a special organization in this community is incredibly rewarding and reflects our deep commitment to supporting our local organizations.” Hermann adds, “We plan to build upon this partnership over time. Ultimately, our goal is to complete a Plum Market Kitchen on site at Academy of the Sacred Heart, where their talented chefs will craft a restaurant-caliber menu for students and faculty each day.”
