BERKLEY SCHOOL DISTRICT: Students Throughout BSD Celebrate the 100th Day of School

Berkley School District issued the following announcement on Feb. 24. 

February 7, 2020, marked the 100th day of school. Kindergarten and first grade students throughout the District celebrated in a variety of ways. At Pattengill, students dressed up as 100 year old people and decorated hats. At Norup, Kindergarten students in Julie Finch and Liz Reynolds classes celebrated “Building to 100” with activities such as building a wall with 100 cups and constructing a bridge with 100 popsicle sticks. Also at Norup in spanish class students had fun counting to 100 (Es divertido contar hasta cien!). At Burton, Kindergarten and first grade students practiced counting to 100, created pictures that included the digits 1,0,0 and students discovered a 100th day mystery picture. At Angell, Kindergarten and TK students rotated through 100th day activities including counting to 100 and making a portrait of themselves as 100 year olds, and in first grade, some students dressed as 100 year old people.
