BERKLEY SCHOOL DISTRICT: Students Learn Important Lesson on Vaping

Berkley School District issued the following announcement on Feb. 24. 

Norup 6th and 7th graders attended an assembly on vaping sponsored by St. John’s Hospital. During the assembly, a representative from St. John’s Hospital presented facts on vaping and the damage it can do to developing brains. 

The St. John’s representative also shared stories of repercussions middle and high school students had faced when vaping devices were confiscated. The goal of this assembly was to teach the students the consequences of vaping so they can make informed decisions when it comes to what they put in their bodies.
