Birmingham Covington School issued the following announcement on Mar. 18.
We hope this email finds you healthy and comfortable in your homes with everything you need settling into the new routine of the next few weeks. We wanted to reach out to you today with a few reminders and a video greeting. First, reminders...
We would like to remind families of the free breakfast/lunch opportunity for students provided by Chartwells at this link: https://www.birmingham.k12.mi.us/…/Ce…/Domain/4/IMG_0105.PNG. If your family needs any additional help with provisions during this time, please let us know. We are here to help!
Teachers will continue to reach out to their students in the coming days/weeks. The BPS Google classroom will be available on Thursday, 3/19/2020, at which time we will share more detailed directions for access to the enrichment learning opportunities for students within the “classrooms.”
The World Health Organization (WHO) announced that dogs cannot get Covid-19. Dogs can be released from quarantine. I guess you could say that "WHO let the dogs out"
If there is anything else you need, we are here to help. Please feel free to contact us should you need to!
We will continue to stay in touch! In an effort to provide some necessary levity to this very serious global health issue, please allow us to lighten the mood by sharing a heartfelt hallway conversation Jason and I had with each other in the video below just a few minutes ago. We titled this video appropriately, “Six Feet Apart!”
Wishing you well,
Mark and Jason
