Troy Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Oct. 28.

Inteva Products, a leading global tier-one automotive supplier of engineered components and systems, was recognized Tuesday with the Michigan’s Best and Brightest in Wellness® award for the fourth consecutive year. Inteva was the only tier-one automotive supplier honored this year for quality and excellence in health and wellness.

The Michigan’s Best and Brightest in Wellness® award is presented annually to organizations demonstrating a commitment to employee wellness and succeeding in maintaining a healthy environment and culture. Inteva was one of 109 Michigan businesses honored in 2020. Additional organizations were honored in six categories including wellness providers, faith-based organizations, non-profits and more.

“Building and maintaining a culture of healthy living and support for all of our team members remains a priority, and that shows in winning this award for a fourth consecutive year,” said Michelle Brown, Director, Global Compensation and Benefits. “We are proud of how well our efforts continue to resonate with employees.”

Inteva’s proprietary health and wellness brand, InVigorate, offers a comprehensive program to employees to promote health and well-being both on the job and at home. The company focuses on total well-being for employees, including personalized health coaching, education and referral services and incentives and resources to help employees and family members get and stay healthy.

“Encouraging our employees to keep themselves and their families healthy is just part of our ongoing commitment to health and safety as a company,” said Tom Munley, Vice President, Human Resources. “Our ‘Safe Enough For Our Families’ culture continues to drive decision making throughout the company as we stress the importance of actively ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone.”

The 2020 awards were presented virtually as part of the Virtual Illuminate Business Summit.
