Birmingham Public Schools issued the following announcement on Nov 4.
Seaholm and Groves administrators, staff, and students took part in an exciting Groundbreaking Ceremony yesterday for our new buildings! Thank you to all who made these projects possible!
Seaholm’s project will include concessions stands, team rooms, locker rooms, training rooms, coaching and official’s rooms, batting cages, a classroom, a gymnasium, golf simulators, an elevated running track, and two outdoor balconies.
Groves’ project will include a concession/restroom building. The teams building will include locker rooms, a team room, a meeting room, training room, coaching and official’s rooms. Additionally, site upgrades to the football stadium will include a new entrance and plaza, a new ticket booth, and installation of new fencing.
