Birmingham Public Schools issued the following announcement on Nov 24.
Students and families at Derby Middle School had a very successful Thanksgiving Food Drive, supporting families at Lighthouse. Derby packed approximately 12 SUV’s with a whopping 1,811 pounds of food items that were delivered by parents and students! Great work to everyone involved.
