City of Birmingham issued the following announcement on Nov 23.
Test vehicles donated by Ford Motor Company give first responders the ability to conduct highly technical training with vehicles built with modern high strength materials. After completing training with specialized tools the crew was challenged to cut the vehicle in half while maintaining its stability on cribbing.
The crew was successful and the experience will transfer to successful extrication of victims in real world scenarios!
