Berkley School District issued the following announcement on Jan 31.
This year the The Michigan Associations of Student Councils and Honor Societies have chosen the Foster Care Closets of Michigan as the Charity of the Year. In support of this state wide initiative, Berkley and Royal Oak High School Student Leadership are partnering to hold a clothing drive.
Donations can be brought to Berkley (2325 Catalpa) or Royal Oak High School’s main office from January 31 - February 4, 2022, 8 am - 3 pm. Items to donate should be new or gently used and size preemie-adult 3X: winter clothes, winter pajamas, new bedding, long sleeve shirts, hoodies, jeans, leggings, new socks and underwear, tennis shoes and winter boots.
