City of Huntington Woods issued the following announcement on Mar 25.
Jump start your spring cleaning with yard waste pickup will begin NEXT WEEK! Curbside yard waste pickup will resume on Tuesday, March 29th, one week early!
Acceptable containers include tall paper yard waste bags or 35-gallon cans with YARD WASTE stickers affixed. There is no charge for the stickers, which are available at the DPW and City Hall offices.
Remember that you can include raw vegetable matter to your yard waste; you may want to keep in your freezer before adding to the bag/can to avoid attracting vermin. Please set out between 4:00 pm Monday and 7:00 am Tuesday to ensure pickup.
