This evening concluded the round of City facility tours for the Facilities Task Force, composed of Ferndale citizens who have dedicated their time to evaluating City facilities and making recommendations to City Council. The group visited the Public Works Yard and the Southwest Storage Yard.
Public Works Director Dan Antosik and Facilities Manager James Jameson led the tour. They provided incredible insight into the inner workings of crucial Public Works functionality—seasonal processes, storage capacities, spatial requirements for vehicles and other supplies, and more. Thank you to the Public Works Department for educating community members about the different spaces and providing insight into facility needs.
