The City has free compost available for residents! Public Works will periodically drop off compost at the following locations; Community Center, Lazenby Field, Jaycee Park, and Angell Elementary School.
As a friendly reminder, please remember to ONLY pick up compost. These locations are NOT a drop-off for unwanted or hazardous materials. This includes trash, sod, or yard waste.
Lastly, this is a communal compost site for residents. Please ONLY take what you need (e.g. no equipment or heavy machinery to pick up large no loads). Learn more at www.berkleymich.org/compost.
