Chief Moore graduated from the 284th session of the FBI National Academy

CONGRATULATIONS CHIEF MOORE!!!!!

Yesterday, Chief Moore graduated from the 284th session of the FBI National Academy, located in Quantico, Virginia.  Chief Moore was one of two hundred and thirty-seven law enforcement officers from 48 states and the District of Columbia to graduate. His graduating class also included members of law enforcement agencies from 25 countries, five military organizations, and five federal civilian organizations.

Internationally known for its academic excellence, the National Academy offers 11 weeks of advanced communication, leadership, and fitness training. Participants who attend the National Academy represent the top tier of law enforcement professionals nationwide.

While at the FBI National Academy, Chief Moore also earned the famed yellow brick after completing the “Yellow Brick Road.” The final test of the 11-week fitness challenge, the Yellow Brick Road is a grueling 6.1-mile run through a hilly, wooded trail built by the U.S. Marines. Along the way, participants must climb over walls, run through creeks, jump through simulated windows, scale rock faces with ropes, crawl under barbed wire in muddy water, maneuver across a cargo net, and more. Students who complete this difficult test receive an actual yellow brick to memorialize their achievement.

Congratulations Chief Moore on this great accomplishment and we look forward to having you back just in time for the holidays.
