Alicia Avina, former Marian High School standout, played on Friday, Feb. 7 in NCAA Division I softball game

On Friday, Feb. 7, former Marian High School standout Alicia Avina’s current college team, the Detroit Mercy Titans, lost 1-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the DePaul Blue Demons.

The game took place at The Dome at Parkway Bank Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Blue Demons this season.

The Titans’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 8 at 10 a.m. at The Dome at Parkway Bank Sports Complex against Western Illinois Leathernecks.
