On Sunday, March 2, former Bloomfield Hills High School standout Brandon Newland’s current college team, the Michigan Wolverines, won 7-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Long Beach State Beach.

The game took place at Bohl Diamond at Blair Field. This was their third matchup against the Beach this season.

The Wolverines’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 4 at 5 p.m. at Jackie Robinson Stadium against UCLA Bruins.
