On Friday, March 7, former Bloomfield Hills High School standout Brandon Newland’s current college team, the Michigan Wolverines, won 12-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Illinois Fighting Illini.

The game took place at Holman Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Fighting Illini this season.

The Wolverines’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 3 p.m. at Holman Stadium against Illinois Fighting Illini.
