On September 12, Nesbitt commented on a recent apprehension with the post: "Suspect captured. Let’s hope justice is swift and unrelenting." Later that day, he expressed support for a sports team, writing: "Let’s go Tigers!"
The following day, Nesbitt criticized employees at Office Depot, stating: "Despicable. @officedepot needs to fire these employees immediately."
Nesbitt has been active in Michigan politics for several years and currently serves as President Pro Tempore of the Michigan Senate.
