On September 14, Nesbitt commented on the influence of conservative activist Charlie Kirk by stating, "They’ve created a million more Charlie Kirks.".
Later that day, he criticized the response of an educator at Grand Ledge High School regarding an incident involving violence. Nesbitt wrote, "If your first response to cold blooded murdered is to insult the victim, you have no business teaching our kids. This behavior can’t be tolerated @GrandLedgeHS".
On September 15, Nesbitt highlighted an event in Detroit honoring Charlie Kirk with the message: "Amazing tribute to Charlie Kirk in Detroit. This is the Turning Point."
