John Blackwell, a former Brother Rice High School standout, and his current team, the Wisconsin Badgers, were defeated 83-82 by the High Point Panthers in the NCAA Tournament on Thursday, March 19.

The matchup was held at the Moda Center, starting at 1:50 p.m.

Blackwell tallied 22 points, 10 rebounds and two assists over 36 minutes of play.
