City of Berkley issued the following announcement on July 15.
The Berkley Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) currently has additional openings for One full-time member position & Two alternate board member positions.
The duties of the Zoning Board of Appeals are as follows:
- Review use variance requests; example: request to develop the property for a use not permitted in the District
- Dimensional variance requests; example: request to construct a commercial building that exceeds the maximum height limit
- Appeal of decisions made by the Planning Commission or Zoning Officer
- Interpretations of the Zoning Ordinance text and/or Zoning Map
