City of Clawson recently issued the following announcement.
Due to the recent rain event, we are hearing that many residents were affected by flooding.
We have reviewed the DTE outage map and it appears we might have been spared power outage issues.
However, we are asking that residents please notify the city of their flooding damage by completing the Claim Form. DPW staff did drive through the City this evening to assess along with the Police Department.
We are continuing our assessment of the flooding through the city and will be discussing these issues with Oakland County. Please forward your Damage Claim Form to the citymanager@cityofclawson.com so we can keep track of those homes that were affected.
We know this has been a hard time for many of you and we are working to assess the totality of this situation.
We will continue to keep you up to date with information as we receive any updates.
