City of Madison Heights issued the following announcement on Aug 5.
DPS has consolidated information on all things right-of-way (ROW) tree management into a single webpage. Tree trimming and maintenance, tree inspections and removal, and brand new this year, our ROW residential tree planting program! In accordance with the City's goal setting process/strategic plan, a residential ROW tree replacement program has been established. This program operates on a first-come, first-serve basis based on available funding.
One item of note: if your tree has been removed as a result of this year's City construction projects, it will be replaced under the Construction Tree Replacement Program; you do not need to fill out a replacement request through this portal. You will be receiving a letter as the construction begins to wrap up for the season.
