City of Clawson issued the following announcement on Sept 2.
ATTENTION RESIDENTS:
Nahma closed between 14 Mile and Madison.
Due to the water main break and now a small gas leak, it has been determined for the safety of all involved to close the road. Clawson DPW and Consumers energy are on site and will work as quickly and safely as possible to restore these services.
There is normally a large amount of traffic down Nahma to Kenwood school during this time of day and we advise people to seek alternate routes to pick up their children from the elementary school.
