City of Hazel Park issued the following announcement on Sept 3.
In observance of the Labor Day holiday, City of Hazel Park offices & the 43rd District Court will be closed on Monday, September 6th and will reopen on Tuesday, September 7th for normal business hours.
GFL Sanitation will not be working on Labor Day.
Residents with a Monday pickup day may place their trash for a Tuesday pickup; everyone else should place their trash out on their normal pick up day.
There may be delays picking up your trash, recycling and yard waste.
Crews will be working hard to catch up through the week to get back on the normal schedule.
