City Hall Will Be Open for ELECTION BUSINESS ONLY on November 2, 2021

City of Berkley issued the following announcement on Oct 19.

We would like to let the community know that City Hall will be open on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 (Election Day) for ELECTION BUSINESS ONLY.

We understand the inconvenience this may cause, however, we are prioritizing the safety of our staff and the community amongst COVID-19 and flu season to ensure exceptional City services and we thank you for your patience. Not Comfortable Coming Into City Hall?

Accessing many of our City Hall services CAN STILL BE DONE via phone, email, or through a dropbox submission. For City Department contact information, visit www.berkleymich.org/contactus.

Clerk's Office Extending Hours:

The Clerk's Office still has extended service hours for election business only on the following day:

  • October 30, 2021, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Residents will be allowed to do the following:

Register to vote

  • Register to vote 
  • Vote absentee ballot
  • Drop off absentee ballots in-person
    • NOTE: Residents can still drop off their ballots via the secure Dropbox located at City Hall
  • Spoil ballots 
Residents can also conduct election business during our regular offices hours.

We are open 8:30 AM to 5 PM (closed for lunch 1-2 PM).
