City of Oak Park recently issued the following announcement.
Do you or your neighbor have the most festive home in your neighborhood?
The City of Oak Park wants to see them shine!
Nominate someone for our Second Annual Holiday Decoration Awards here: bit.ly/OPDecorations
Categories are:
- Best use of lights
- Best theme
- Best animated display
- Best inflatable display
Contest is limited to what can be seen from the street side of the house at night.
Contest Rules:
- Applications will be accepted until 4 pm on Dec. 10.
- Judging will take place between Dec. 13-16 from 6-9 pm
- Please have your decorations (lights, inflatables, etc.) ON no later than 6 pm
- Winners will be notified by Dec. 20.
Awards presented by the Parks & Recreation Commission and Sponsored by Best Friends Child Care Early Childhood Education Center.
