The Giving Tree is back for four special families!
Have you been wanting to help give a gift this holiday season to someone in need, and not sure how? Well do we have a solution for you! The Giving Tree.
What is a Giving Tree, you may ask? Simply stop by the Hazel Park City Hall tomorrow afternoon and come up to the first floor. You’ll see on our Christmas tree what appears to be gift tags. These tags indicate a gift that can be purchased by any of you in the community who wish to give something back this holiday season. These gifts will be given out by our Fire and Police Departments to four families. After you purchase the item on the tag, simply bring the item back (unwrapped) and place it in the box that corresponds with the tag you choose, along with the tag. It’s that easy!
You will be able to give a gift until noon on the 21st of December, at which time our two departments will come together to organize and wrap the gifts to be delivered to those four families! Updates will be posted as we go along.
