City of Birmingham recently issued the following announcement.
Did you know Birmingham code enforcement officers work on weekends? If you have a time-sensitive concern that requires immediate attention outside of normal business hours, please call the Birmingham Police Department's non-emergency line at 248-530-1870, and dispatch will send a code enforcement or police officer to assist you.
During normal business hours (Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.), concerns should be reported by calling Code Enforcement at 248-530-1859.
