City of Berkley issued the following announcement on Jan 21.
Berkley has recommenced its "Road Map to a Better City Infrastructure'' as the city begins work on the Watermain & Pavement Replacement for Kenmore Rd. and Cornwall St.
Public Works (DPW) along with engineering consultants, Hubbell, Roth & Clark, Inc. The scope of proposed improvements include:
- Removal and replacement of the existing asphalt road surface.
- New concrete curb and gutter, driveway approaches, sidewalks, and ADA ramps.
- A new 8-inch public water main.
- Minor stormwater drainage improvements.
- Minimal trees may also be impacted by the project and the City will work with the affected property owners on a replacement plan.
