Berkley Department of Public Safety recently issued the following announcement.
Berkley Department of Public Safety has been investigating a complaint of possible Prostitution/Narcotic activity in the 1200 block of West (near Woodward).
On 2/16/22 around 730pm, Detectives, Officers and an Undercover officer conducted a sting operation, arresting the resident for her Solicitation of Prostitution. There was some evidence of narcotic activity and admission of drug use.
We appreciate the neighborhood resilience to notify us of the activity that brought them concern and was verified.
We hope to continue to keep Berkley safe and hope that all residents know they can reach out if they notice suspicious activity.
More information may be released once subject is arraigned in court.
