City of Royal Oak issued the following announcement on Apr 8.
POLICE UPDATE: Dry cleaner robbery suspect arrested
The suspect involved in the Armed Robbery of Martinizing Dry Cleaners on April 1, 2022, and the Attempted Armed Robbery of Sylvia’s Dry Cleaners on April 5, 2022, was arrested late Wednesday morning.
On April 6, 2022, Royal Oak Detectives working with investigators from Allen Park, Southgate, and Wyandotte located the suspect and his vehicle in Lincoln Park where he was taken into custody.
The 55-year-old Detroit resident is expected to be formally charged after the cases are reviewed by the Oakland County prosecutor’s office.
