Utility bills will be hitting mailboxes in the next few days, and users will see a rate increase that was adopted as part of the budget process earlier this summer. The increase is based on the cost to purchase water from the Great Lakes Water Authority and delivery to our users, along with the cost to collect and send sewage Oakland County for treatment.
Water and Sewer charges are necessary to maintain and update infrastructure, which allows us to have and access clean water.
