Daylight Savings day | City of Birmingham fb
Today is Daylight Savings day, which means our clocks need to “spring forward” one hour. It’s also a great time to check the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors to ensure they are properly functioning.
The Birmingham Fire Department is offering residents free in-home safety evaluations to make sure all smoke detectors, explosive gas alarms and carbon monoxide detectors are in proper working order, are within the usage date, and also to ensure they are installed properly in the best location for your safety.
