On Wednesday, March 22 root control treatment work will begin on municipal sewer system segments throughout the city, a regular practice to eliminate tree roots within the sewer system. The work is expected to take approximately one week to complete and will be performed by Duke's Root Control. Materials used for root treatment are not harmful to humans, animals or trees. Sewer service will not be interrupted and no action is required by residents or property owners.
