Senator Aric Nesbitt has recently expressed his concerns on social media regarding foreign influence and security threats within the state of Michigan. His tweets address a range of issues, from biosecurity threats to immigration policies.

On June 4, 2025, Senator Nesbitt tweeted about a missed opportunity to pass the House Foreign Influence package. He mentioned, "Would have been a good chance to pass the House Foreign Influence package seeing as we just found out CCP agents are trying to bring bio weapons into our state. Democrats don't seem to be concerned though."

In another tweet later that day, Senator Nesbitt highlighted specific activities allegedly carried out by Chinese Communist Party (CCP) agents at the University of Michigan. According to him, these agents have engaged in various illicit actions such as voting illegally and smuggling bio weapons. He questioned the stance of Democrats on student visas for Chinese nationals by stating, "At the University of Michigan, CCP agents posing as students have: - Voted illegally in our elections. - Smuggled in bio weapons - Spied on a military facility What will it take for Democrats to admit we shouldn’t give student visas to China?"

Later that afternoon, Senator Nesbitt commented on the priorities of Michigan Democrats concerning federal funding and immigration laws. He asserted, “Michigan Democrats put federal funding at risk by ignoring the law and choosing illegal immigrants over citizens” Fixed it for you.
