Senator Aric Nesbitt, a Republican member of the Michigan Senate, recently posted several statements on his X (formerly Twitter) account addressing issues ranging from public figures' health to state governance and infrastructure funding.

On August 31, 2025, Nesbitt expressed support for a prominent political figure by stating, "Praying for a quick recovery for America’s Mayor. https://t.co/o6reyo2diB".

On September 2, 2025, Nesbitt criticized Governor Gretchen Whitmer's response to alleged corruption at the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC). He wrote, "Whitmer said she was “concerned” about the corruption at MEDC. So did she fire the head of MEDC? No. Instead she’s taking him on a taxpayer funded trip to Japan."

Later that day, Nesbitt addressed Michigan's ongoing road repair challenges. He stated, "7 years, a $9 billion surplus, 40% increase in revenue, and a legislative trifecta yet you STILL failed to fix the roads. House Republicans passed a plan that fully funds our roads WITHOUT raising taxes. If Democrats in the Senate stop standing in the way we can get it done."

Nesbitt has been an active voice in Michigan politics and is known for his critiques of current state leadership and policy decisions.
